Joseph Higgins

Attorney

Helping people is what makes Joseph Higgins tick. Prior to joining Fears Law, Joseph practiced as an Attorney Advisor for the U.S. Small Business Administration Office of Disaster Assistance, where he took pride in helping individuals financially recover from natural disasters, specifically hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.

A transactional attorney, Joseph’s areas of practice include estate planning/administration, family law, property law, consumer law, criminal law, and general civil practice. Representing clients across Texas through the ARAG legal insurance plan, Joseph enjoys advising and counseling clients on a wide variety of legal issues, as well as helping resolve legal claims on their behalf.

A member of his university club baseball team in college, Joseph enjoys sports and bike riding. He’s also a frequent visitor to Campion Trail and loves the outdoors as well as spending time with his wife (who is an attorney as well) and his dog, Buster (who is not). A dual citizen of the United States and Canada, he also enjoys travel.
