Fears Law Sponsors Lakewood Service League’s Chari-Tea to Support Dallas

Fears Law was proud to sponsor the Lakewood Service League’s Chari-Tea, an annual event celebrating the organizations making a meaningful difference throughout Dallas. The gathering highlighted the power of community involvement and the importance of investing in educational opportunities, youth advocacy, and resources that help local families thrive.

Since 1982, the Lakewood Service League has contributed more than 150,000 volunteer hours and over $3 million to local nonprofit partners, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to strengthening the Dallas community.

This year’s Chari-Tea placed a special spotlight on organizations working to advance education, advocate for children, and provide essential support to individuals and families.

Supporting Organizations That Make a Difference

The event recognized several nonprofit organizations whose work creates lasting, positive change throughout our community.

Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC)

DCAC provides critical services to children and families affected by abuse, helping children access healing, justice, and educational advocacy. Its work plays an essential role in supporting young people as they navigate difficult circumstances and work toward brighter futures.

Jubilee Park & Community Center

Jubilee Park & Community Center empowers families through early childhood education, out-of-school learning, and adult enrichment programs. By expanding access to educational resources and community support, Jubilee Park helps individuals and families build stronger foundations for the future.

Wilkinson Center

The Wilkinson Center helps individuals and families work toward greater stability and opportunity through adult education, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, literacy initiatives, job training, and essential family support services. These programs help community members develop the skills and resources they need to move forward.

Together, these organizations demonstrate how access to education, advocacy, and community resources can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Investing in the Next Generation

At Fears Law, we believe strong communities are built through meaningful connections, service, and a commitment to helping others thrive. Supporting organizations that advocate for children, expand educational opportunities, and empower families reflects the importance of investing in the next generation.

We are grateful to the Lakewood Service League for its decades of service to Dallas and for bringing the community together to recognize the organizations doing this important work.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making Chari-Tea such a meaningful event. We are proud to support the efforts that help make our community a stronger place to live, learn, and grow.

At Fears Law, we are proud to be part of the Dallas community and remain committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the people and families we serve.
